Description

ANSYS - Introduction : Part 2
Duration : 2 days| Cost : $1000| Interface : Classic
Prerequisites : Although it is not our policy to deny students entry into a particular class, we recommend the following prerequisites in order for you to get the most out of this learning experience. For your own sake please ensure you have the appropriate qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Basic engineering knowledge
  • ANSYS - Introduction : Part 1
What you will learn
  • Utilizing arrays
  • How to use coupling and constraint equations to tie parts together
  • Beam elements: when and how to use them
  • Sequential vs. direct thermal/structural coupled-field analyses
  • How to submodel a small section of a much larger model
  • Modal analysis procedure
  • What exaclty is a 'nonlinear' analysis and what do I do about it?
  • How to create and use macros
Summary

This class builds upon the ANSYS - Introduction : Part 1 course, and it is assumed that students have either completed this course or have the equivalent knowledge/experience. It is intended for those who wish to proceed past the basic instruction delivered in Part 1 and learn a bit more about various othere analysis tools and methods in ANSYS.

We will cover each of the disparate topics shown below in a short lecture and follow that up with hands-on workshops.

  • Array parameters
  • Coupling and constraint equations
  • Working with elements
  • Beam modeling
  • Coupled field analyses
  • Submodeling
