FLUENT - Introduction

Duration : 3 days

Cost : $1,500

Description

The primary goal of this course is to cover the basics of working in the FLUENT software environment. All course material is designed to educate students on the best practices for effectively calculating a broad range of real-world CFD problems from start to finish. Students will have hands-on time to work through the entire simulation process, and learn about the range of physical models and meshing schemes available along with the strengths and weaknesses of each option. Mesh generation using preprocessing software, GAMBIT or TGrid, is also covered.

We recognize that it is valuable for clients to begin building relationships with their FLUENT Support Team therefore, the final day of the course provides time for working on a CFD problem of your choice, side by side with a FLUENT Application Engineer.

You should attend if you: Analyze the behavior of viscous fluid flow. You should have a B.S. in engineering or equivalent engineering experience, and knowledge of the basic fluid conservation equations. This course will help you to perform computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analyses.
