Ozen Engineering Merges with SimuTech Group, Uniting Two Leading Partners of Ansys and Synopsys Across North America

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Silicon Valley, CA & Rochester, NY — Ozen Engineering and SimuTech Group, two leading simulation partners within the Ansys and Synopsys ecosystems, today announced their merger—uniting to deliver best-in-class engineering simulation software, services, and support to clients across North America.

With over 200 employees, approaching $100 million in combined revenue, and more than 80 years of collective experience, this strategic merger positions the new organization as Ansys’ largest and most capable channel partner in North America and a key player in supporting Synopsys’ Silicon-to-Systems vision.

“This is more than just two companies coming together—it’s a deliberate and strategic step forward,” said Katie Lally, Owner of SimuTech Group. “We’re building not just a bigger company, but a better one—with deeper expertise, expanded capacity, and a stronger commitment to solving our customers’ most complex engineering challenges.”

The merger brings together two established simulation leaders with complementary reach. Founded in 2003, Ozen Engineering is deeply rooted in Silicon Valley, giving the combined organization a strong presence in California, the world’s fourth-largest economy. SimuTech Group, headquartered in Rochester, NY, adds a more substantial footprint across North America and widespread experience delivering Ansys simulation software and services across North America and beyond. Together, the companies unite broader geographic coverage with unmatched technical expertise, serving industries from aerospace, defense, and automotive to healthcare, energy, consumer products, and more.

“This isn’t about competition—it’s a natural joining of forces,” said Metin Ozen, Founder and CEO of Ozen Engineering. “Together, we are stronger. Together, we become one of the largest channel partners for Ansys and Synopsys globally. Most importantly, this means more support, more innovation, and more opportunity for every client we serve.”

While integration efforts are already underway, the companies will maintain separate branding and operational structures through the end of 2025 to ensure continuity and minimize disruption. Full brand unification is planned for early 2026 at which time both companies will fully operate under the SimuTech Group name.

This merger is supported by both Ansys and Synopsys, reinforcing their vision of deeper integration of simulation, analysis, and design workflows to help accelerate R&D outcomes. With Ansys now part of Synopsys, SimuTech Group’s combined reach with Ozen Engineering extends that value even further—delivering broader access and deeper expertise.

“We are perfectly positioned to support Ansys and Synopsys customers as their product development needs evolve—from silicon to systems and from concept to certification,” said Rick James, CEO of SimuTech Group. “This merger amplifies our ability to innovate and serve.”

Together, Ozen and SimuTech Group are poised to lead the next era of simulation—delivering expertise at scale, support with purpose, and solutions built for tomorrow.
